Delete Your Account
Last updated: September 5, 2026
You can permanently delete your KaamDiary account and every record tied to it at any time. KaamDiary doesn't yet have an in-app "Delete account" button, so today this is handled as a request — send us one of the messages below and we'll take care of the rest.
How to request deletion
- Email support@kaamdiary.com from the same address you use to sign in to KaamDiary, with the subject "Delete my account" — or message us on WhatsApp at +91 63625 65821.
- Tell us the email address (or phone number, if that's how you signed in) linked to your account, so we can find and verify it.
- We'll confirm your identity and complete the deletion — usually well within 30 days — and let you know once it's done.
What gets deleted
Once we process your request, we permanently delete:
- Your profile — name, email, phone number, and photo.
- Every worker or contractor ("party") you added, and all their details.
- All attendance, payment, and expense records across every work.
- Every photo you uploaded — profile photos, payment proof, receipts, and work photos.
- Your sign-in credentials themselves, so the account no longer exists.
None of this data is retained anywhere after deletion — we don't keep backups of deleted accounts.
What this does not do
Simply signing out of the app, or uninstalling it from your phone, does not delete your data — your account and everything in it stay exactly as they were, ready for you (or, if you're a worker, your contractor's own account data about you) whenever you sign back in. Only the request process above actually deletes anything.
If you're a worker added by a contractor's account rather than someone with your own KaamDiary sign-in, your records live under that contractor's account — ask them to remove you, or write to us and we'll help.
